At Ronald McDonald House Alberta, families find more than a place to stay. They find moments of rest, home-cooked meals, and a compassionate support system designed to ensure they never feel like they are facing their battle alone. Thanks to the vital support of our donors and volunteers, our families can focus on what matters most: being there for their child.
By providing complimentary snacks, drinks, toys, hygiene items, and more everyday essentials, the Comfort Cart brings the comforts of Ronald McDonald House® Alberta directly to families spending long hours at the hospital with their sick or injured child. The Comfort Cart program currently serves the Foothills Medical Centre and Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary, the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, and Lethbridge’s Chinook Regional Hospital. For families navigating daily uncertainty, this simple act of kindness is an important reminder that they are not alone. Made possible by generous donors and dedicated volunteers, the Comfort Cart delivers immediate moments of care where and when families need them most.
Families come to Ronald McDonald House® Alberta from communities across the province and beyond, each with a unique story shaped by resilience, care, and connection.
