Families with a child receiving medical treatment at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre should contact a hospital social worker or a member of the child’s medical team for a referral.
To be eligible to stay, families will need a medical referral that is no more than 1 year old.
Please note that a referral does not guarantee accommodation.
When you receive a referral, you will be placed on the room request list. All families must call to confirm availability within 24 hours of their intended arrival date.
To confirm room availability, parents can phone the House no earlier than one day in advance. Availability inquiries can be made seven days a week. Please contact our Family Services team at 403-340-2007. Someone will be available to help you 24 hours a day.
Once you have confirmed your room, you can check in at any time, day or night. Parking will be provided for the duration of your stay.
Once checked in, our Family Services team will provide you with a tour of the House and answer any questions.
