• Visit Ronald McDonald House Alberta with a certified therapy animal during scheduled volunteer shifts
• Provide friendly, supportive interactions with families, children, and guests
• Follow all Ronald McDonald House Alberta policies and Pet Therapy program guidelines

• 2 visits a month for a 6 month commitment

• Must be certified for Pet Therapy

Specific duties:

• Bring your group of up to 10 volunteers to the Ronald McDonald House and help support us with our seasonal tasks

• These shifts are 1 time volunteer opportunities to help our Houses feel like home

• Must be 14 years or older. Our ratio for minors is 1 adult to every 3 teens aged 14 years old, or older

Specific duties:

• Provides friendly first point of contact for the House and greets families, visitors, volunteers, staff, and donors
• Answers the phone and responds to frequent questions and/or connects caller to the appropriate staff member
• Supports Family Services in checking families in & out, providing tours, and supporting other stakeholders signing in

• Front Desk Volunteers are asked to work one shift per week with a 1 year commitment
• Typical shifts are up to four hours in length.
